Saving a proposal as a template runs it back through a cheap model that strips every client-specific detail and keeps only the shape and the voice. That extraction is what produced both of these.

  Plain and unhurried. Short sentences, no hype adjectives, no exclamation marks. Names risks directly rather than softening them. Reads like a competent person who has done this before and is not trying to impress anyone.

  - One sentence on what this proposal covers, and what it deliberately does not

  - Each workstream as a bold lead-in followed by two or three sentences
  - An explicit "out of scope" line at the end

  - Bulleted, concrete, each one a thing the client receives
  - Include the handover artefact and the post-launch support window
  
  ## Timeline
  - A table: phase, duration, what happens
  - Tie the final phase to the client's real deadline, with slack
  
  ## Pricing
  - A table of line items with [amount] placeholders
  - One line on payment split
  
  ## Next Steps
  - Numbered, three items maximum, each an action with an owner

  Warm but businesslike. Slightly more personal than the dev template — first person, occasional sentence fragment for rhythm. Concrete about logistics because photography clients worry about the day itself.
